ESD204 is a bidirectional TVS ESD protection diode array that provides up to 5.5 A (8 / 20 μs) of surge protection for HDMI and USB. The rated ESD shock dissipation value of ESD204 reaches the highest level specified in the international standard IEC 61000-4-2 (Level 4). ESD204 offers low clamping and high differential bandwidth, enabling the device to transmit high-speed signals cleanly and providing strong protection for downstream devices. The device has a low capacitance value of 0.55 pF per channel, making it ideal for protecting high-speed interfaces with rates up to 6Gbps (such as HDMI 2.0, HDMI 1.4, USB 3.0, and Ethernet 1G). Low dynamic resistance and low clamping voltage ensure system-level protection against transient events. ESD204 comes in an industry-standard USON-10 (DQA) package. This package features through wiring with a pin pitch of 0.5 mm, which simplifies implementation and shortens design time.
