The TPD4E101 is a four-channel ESD protection device in an ultra-small package. The larger pin pitch helps save the manufacturing cost of the printed circuit board (PCB). This device provides up to 15kV contact discharge protection compliant with IEC61000 - 4 - 2. This device features an ESD clamping circuit, and the back-to-back diodes of this circuit support single-pole/bidirectional signals. The low line capacitance makes this device suitable for a wide range of applications supporting data rates up to 700Mbps. Typical application areas in portable applications include audio lines (microphones, headphones, and speakerphones), SD interfaces, SIM interfaces, auxiliary keyboards, or other buttons.
