1 Installation: For non-shielded (non-flush) model PRCMT18-8DO, do not flush-mount the sensing head with surrounding metal surfaces; maintain recommended clearance from other metallic objects to avoid interference

2 Wiring: Follow correct polarity for DC3-wire connections (refer to wiring diagrams in specs) to prevent component damage; disconnect power before wiring or maintenance

3 Load handling: If load current is less than 5mA, connect a bleeder resistor in parallel with the load to avoid residual voltage issues (calculate resistor value using formula R = Vs/Io and power P = Vs²/R, where Vs is power supply voltage, Io is sensor's no-load current)
