注意事项 PRECAUTIONS

Installation Notes:

1 Ensure proper grounding via the FG terminal to prevent electric shock and reduce electromagnetic interference.

2 Use recommended screw sizes: M4 for front-end mounting (torque:7-10Kgf-cm) and M3.5 for module DC terminals (torque:10Kgf-cm) to avoid loose connections and overheating.

3 Do not block the air flow direction (specified in mechanical specs) to ensure adequate cooling.

Operation Notes:

1 Do not exceed the total output power limit (1200W for NMP1K2) or individual module's rated power/current.

2 When using remote sense, use twisted-pair cables for sense lines to minimize noise; ensure the sense lines are connected to the load terminals directly.

3 For parallel operation:

4 Connect CS pins of all modules to enable current sharing; ensure output voltage difference between modules is less than0.2V.

5 Use short, thick wires for parallel connections to reduce voltage drop; do not use the PC (current programming) function in parallel mode.

6 Follow derating guidelines: When output voltage <12V and ambient temperature is between -15°C and -30°C, derate the output current to90% of rated value.

7 Global ON/OFF Control: If not using the global ON/OFF function, install the provided shorting connector (RC1 to GND-P) to enable output; otherwise, the unit will have no output.

Maintenance & Safety:

1 Always disconnect the power supply before performing maintenance or replacing modules to avoid electric shock.

2 Replace faulty modules only with compatible Meanwell NMS/NMD series modules to maintain safety and performance standards.

3 Do not operate the unit in humid, corrosive, dusty, or explosive environments; keep it in a well-ventilated area with ambient temperature between -30°C and +70°C (per derating curves).
