2 Disconnect power before making any internal adjustments (like DIP switch settings)

3 For optimal noise immunity, use a response setting of 2 cycles or higher (avoid single cycle except for short-range stationary targets)

4 Properly ground the shield (connect to earth ground and DC common) to ensure reliable operation

5 When programming window limits: Push and hold the Limits button until green LED turns off (≈2s) to start; set near/far limits by placing target and pressing button for <2s; cancel programming by holding button for 2s

6 Temperature changes affect sensing window: Higher temp shifts limits closer to sensor, lower temp shifts further away (3.5% per 20°C)

7 The 5-segment LED indicator shows target position: #1 flashes if target is near, #5 if far; if target is beyond recommended limit (3.0m), the 5th segment flashes
