CAUTION: This power module is not internally fused. An input line fuse must always be used (fast-acting fuse with max rating of5A as per safety agencies; consult fuse manufacturer's data sheet for details).

For safety agency approval, install the module in compliance with spacing and separation requirements of end-use safety standards (UL62368-1, CSA C22.2 No.62368-1, VDE0868-1/A11).

For non-SELV input sources (>60Vdc ≤75Vdc) to ensure SELV/ES1 output:

Input source must have reinforced insulation from ac mains or other hazardous voltages;

Ground one VIN pin and one VOUT pin, or keep both input and output pins floating;

Ensure input pins are not operator accessible;
7
Conduct system-level SELV/ES1 reliability test under single fault condition.

Do not ground an input pin without grounding an output pin (risk of non-SELV/ES1 voltage between output pins and ground).

Module output is SELV/ES1 only if all inputs are SELV/ES1; ELV output if inputs are ELV.

For input voltages between -60Vdc and -75Vdc, the converter is evaluated for Basic Insulation between TNV-2 input and unearthed SELV outputs.

Remote On/Off usage:

Positive logic: Leave ON/OFF pin open if unused;

Negative logic: Short ON/OFF pin to VIN(-) if unused.

Overcurrent protection:

Without auto-restart: Module latches off (restart by cycling input power or toggling remote on/off);

With auto-restart: Module stays in hiccup mode until overcurrent is resolved.

Overtemperature protection: Module shuts down at ~135°C, restarts automatically when cool.

Input undervoltage lockout: Module enables only when input exceeds turn-on threshold, disables below turn-off threshold.

Overvoltage protection: Latches off (reset by cycling input or toggling remote on/off; auto-restart allows automatic recovery).

Output voltage adjustment: Use external resistor between TRIM pin and Vout+/-; ensure combined adjustment and initial tolerance stays within 80%-110% of nominal voltage.

Thermal management: Ensure sufficient cooling (ambient temp, airflow) to maintain reliability.

Layout: Avoid copper areas or vias directly under the module; follow recommended pad layouts.
